Mark Contreras, President and Master Executive Officer of Connecticut Public, has led several media businesses through digital transformation. Prior to his role as Dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University, Contreras served as CEO of Calkins Media, a privately-held local television, digital and local paper publishing company. Calkins developed innovative strategies to maximize audition reach, engagement and revenue by embracing streaming media platforms such every bit Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV. He previously led local newspaper publishing and digital businesses for iii public companies including Capital Cities/ABC; Pulitzer, Inc; and The E.W. Scripps Co.

Joe Coss

In 2011, Joe Coss was hired by CPBN. His primary responsibility at the time was to lead and manage CPTV's round the clock sports network and during that time, he increased productivity using emerging engineering through his leadership. In but 18 months, Joe tripled the station's live programming lineup.

In June of 2013, later on working at CPTV for two years managing the company's sports network, Joe was promoted to the position of Production Managing director and was responsible for overseeing three statewide television set networks. During that time he managed a variety of television product services including honor winning national television specials from musical performances to higher and high school sports. In July 2016, Joe was promoted to Director of Operations.

As Director of Operations, Joe joined the Senior Management Team and expanding his responsibilities to include oversight of Connecticut Public's Radio Operations and Traffic Departments also as Capital planning. During this fourth dimension he spearheaded the effort to expand WNPRs presence on the Connecticut shoreline by building a new radio studio in New Haven. He led the IT Department through revitalizing the Company'due south network infrastructure and engineering.

Prior to joining CPTV, Joe served as the Sports Information Director at Mail Academy in Connecticut. Through Joe's strategic efforts, he was able proceeds national exposure for the 1,000 pupil university. Joe placed stories in the Wall Street Journal, with the Associated Press, and repeatedly on Connecticut's CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fob affiliates. Sarah DeFilippis joined Connecticut Public in 2016, and serves equally Chief Marketing and Date Officer. She oversees marketing strategy and implementation for all Connecticut Public programming on radio, television set and digital platforms, and also supports all marketing and communications for the organisation's fundraising and sponsorship initiatives.

In 2018, she led the company's comprehensive rebranding initiative, which designed repositioned Connecticut Public as an omni-platform public media arrangement for a new generation of viewers, listeners and digital users. Equally a marketing strategist and brand storyteller, Sarah'southward career has been dedicated to helping emerging and established organizations to launch new initiatives, create and reinvigorate brands, overcome competitive challenges and turn customers into brand advocates.

Prior to joining Connecticut Public, she led a strategic marketing and branding studio for 18 years, which provided strategic marketing expertise and creative solutions to corporations and center marketplace businesses in a wide range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, graphic arts, and healthcare.

Lisa Di Donato Cambria is the Executive Banana to the President and Chief Executive Officeholder at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. and Banana Secretary for the Corporation. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of support to the President and CEO, in add-on to acting as chief liaison to the company'southward Board of Trustees.

Her career with CPBI has spanned over 34 years, including two decades in the local and national programming departments where she supported legendary Executive Producer Larry Rifkin and played a cardinal office in the meteoric rise of CPTV in developing several landmark programs such as Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine and UConn Women'south Basketball. Prior to her current role, she provided executive level support to the Executive Vice President of Development and Chief Operating Officeholder.

Lisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from the Higher of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY. Outside of the C-Suite, Lisa can exist found nearly often in the two places she loves well-nigh: her kitchen and along the seashore in Old Lyme. She resides in Manchester with her married man of 25 years, Steve.

Sonja Pasquantonio is the Director of Man Resources at Connecticut Public Dissemination, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for soup-to-basics of the multi-faceted Human Resources role, a job that cares for 130+ full-time, role-fourth dimension, intern, and temporary employees working towards the radio, television, and didactics components. She has over 27 years of human being resources experience, including two decades in various national and international roles in government agencies.

Prior to coming to Connecticut Public, Sonja was the Human Resource Director at the Land Education Resource Center.

Sonja holds a M.A. in English language Literature from Old Dominion University and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Capella University. She resides in East Granby, Connecticut with her married man, Mike, and their two daughters.

Tim Rasmussen

Tim Rasmussen oversees all content produced and distributed past Connecticut Public, including Connecticut Public radio, three goggle box channels, and digital and online platforms. Before joining CT Public, he was the Manager of Photography at ESPN where he is responsible for photography at ESPN The Magazine and all digital platforms. In 2017 the Mag was awarded Full general Excellence and Best Sports cover by American Gild of Magazine Editors. He joined ESPN in 2015 after nearly ten years as Banana Managing Editor for Photography at The Denver Postal service, where the paper became known for its exceptional photography. Nether his leadership, the photography staff was awarded three Pulitzers, two for Feature Photography and i for Breaking News Reporting. He established video journalism at the Post where the staff was awarded six National Edward R. Murrow Awards including Overall Excellence and a finalist for a National Emmy in Current News Coverage. In 1988, he was accepted to the beginning Eddie Adams Workshop, where he received 1 of ten awards but, more than memorably, he got to dance with legendary National Geographic lensman Jodi Cobb. In 1997, he made Eddie Adams' shit list - the only real accomplishment listed in this bio. Tim was fired from his outset job as a photographer for refusing to allow a picture to be cropped. Xv years later on, he realized he was a photo editor. On their first date, Koren, his married woman of 22 years, had a newspaper clipping of one of Tim's recently published photo essays saved on her coffee table. Meg Sakellarides, Chief Financial Officeholder of Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc, the parent company of Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio has over thirty-two years of financial management and business organization experience, specifically with for-profit financial services organizations and non-profit broadcasting and educational institutions. A 1986 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. degree in Accounting, Ms. Sakellarides is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Connecticut and a fellow member of the American Constitute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Ms. Sakellarides spent 7 years as a director with the Large 4 accounting and consulting house of Deloitte, specializing in audit services for corporate, banking, and not-for-profit clients. Clients included Emhart Corporation, TD Depository financial institution, and the Urban center of Hartford. Later her tenure at Deloitte, Ms. Sakellarides spent v years at CIGNA Corporation, an international healthcare insurance company, where she was responsible for man resources development and training for the Financial Executive Evolution Program (FEDP) for accountants and actuaries. In addition, her financial responsibilities at CIGNA included leading and managing the customer service and financial operations of their Reinsurance Division. The FEDP at CIGNA is i of the country's well-nigh prestigious financial and executive leadership programs and Ms. Sakellarides participated in that executive evolution programme throughout her career at CIGNA.

Deidre Tavera serves as Chief Evolution Officer at Connecticut Public overseeing institutional advancement efforts including leadership giving and major gifts, grants and foundations and legacy giving.

Previously, Deidre was Chief Engagement and Partnership Officeholder for Hartford Public Schools leading strategic and program planning, community partnerships, internal and external communications, fund development and grants direction.

Deidre has worked for 30 years with many nonprofit and community-based organizations overseeing educational programming, customs relations, marketing and communications, organizational development, fundraising, and board governance. As a senior leader at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts she led strategic planning efforts, designed an award-winning arts education program and a customs venture to reach the elder market and initiated the beginning-up of a human resources section. Every bit a consultant, she worked with over 30 nonprofit organizations facilitating planning and community discussions designed to accelerate the missions and improve service delivery and partnerships with stakeholders.

Lauren Komrosky oversees the Digital Services Bureau and the Membership teams including strategy, development and execution of all digital products and services and all membership advice and revenue.

Lauren joined Connecticut Public in 2015 focused on market place research and development where she helped establish qualitative audience research and quantitative performance reporting that fueled programming and business decision making, developing a new data driven culture. Presently thereafter, Lauren moved into a new function leading a research team in June of 2017 to help drive a new divergent strategy effectually audition evolution, community engagement, and digital content development. In 2019, Lauren joined the newly established Digital Services Bureau to pb a squad of experts who focused on data, digital audience engagement, and digital product development.

Prior to Connecticut Public, Lauren spent much of her career in the marketing and advertizing industry at such firms every bit Typhoon/FCB and Ogilvy & Mather in New York and Los Angeles, then focusing in on digital marketing specifically with a heavy emphasis on performance-driven marketing at the San Diego agency, BusinessOnline.

A Connecticut native, Lauren and her husband Mike like to soak up all that the state has to offer with their two daughters and Golden Retriever.

Deanna Fox serves as Senior Vice President, Underwriting, Production and Partnerships at Connecticut Public overseeing underwriting sales, commercial partnerships besides the development of commercial digital products.

Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Sales for The Philadelphia Inquirer, a public benefit corporation, where she oversaw the advertizement sales teams for local and national sales as well as programmatic acquirement and events.

Deanna has worked for over 20 years with local media organizations, focusing on digital products and innovation. She has held positions throughout the United States including with Gannett, where she was one of the offset digital leaders for a local marketplace. She also oversaw sales for Advance Communications, Digital Commencement Media and Calkins Media, where she helped launch the offset streaming aqueduct for a local print media organization in the U.S.

She serves on the Customs and Communications board of the Derry Township Schoolhouse district and volunteers with Cocoa Packs, fighting childhood hunger.

Deanna embarked on her media career after attending Whitworth Higher in Spokane, WA and majoring in Accounting. She is a Washington Country native, the girl of wheat and cattle farmers and could double clutch before she graduated from high schoolhouse. She and her hubby Joe have 1 daughter and 2 sons.
